NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING
SEPTEMBER 17, 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Layton City Council will hold a
Public Hearing on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council
Chambers of the Layton City Center, 437 North Wasatch Drive, to review a
proposal to amend Title 19 “Zoning”, Chapter 19.02 “Definitions”
, Chapter
19.06 “Land Use Regulations”, Section 19.06.300 “Accessory Dwelling Unit
Standards” to standardize requirements in accordance with Senate Bill 284
from the 2026 Utah Legislative session.
The hearing will be held at the regularly scheduled City Council Meeting.
Public comments are welcomed.
