The Ballard Planning and Zoning Board will hold a public hearing on Nov. 3, 2026, to discuss a conditional use permit for well completion, according to a notice published October 7.
The meeting is scheduled to take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ballard City Offices located at 2381 E 1000 S, Ballard, Utah.
The hearing will focus on a proposal from SM Energy Company for the completion and operation of a well. The project site is located in the NENE of section 35-T2S-R1W in Ballard City.
During the proceedings, the Ballard Planning and Zoning Board will take public comments from individuals regarding support or opposition to the SM Energy Company proposal.
