TOOELE, Utah (ABC4) — Did you hear those loud booms in Tooele County today? Officials with the Tooele Army Depot say the noises came from scheduled open detonation activities. According to the army depot, they were conducting open detonations today on the South Area Range in the Rush Valley area.
