Center Street construction timeline update
According to a May 27 announcement from the City of Logan, the construction plan for the Center Street Bollard Project has been reduced to approximately three days. The change follows contractor recommendations intended to minimize the impact on local businesses and enhance the quality of the final product.
New America 250 block party process
The City of Logan also launched a streamlined application process in early June to assist neighborhoods and residents in hosting local block parties as part of the America 250 Celebration.
Weber Fire District safety efforts
In Weber County, the Weber Fire District continues its community risk reduction efforts through public education and code enforcement. The district's Fire Marshals' Office remains responsible for enforcing state and local fire laws, conducting origin and cause investigations, and managing permits for fireworks vendors and public pyrotechnic displays.
