Residents in the Tooele Valley may notice increased activity today, May 4, 2026, due to ongoing operations at the Tooele Army Depot North Range.
While activity is occurring on the North Range, no operations are taking place on the South Range in Rush Valley.
The operations on the North Range are expected to take place between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. During this time, the depot noted that the activity may produce visible smoke and occasional noise.
Community members who experience significant noise levels are encouraged to contact the depot directly to submit a report.
When reporting noise, residents should provide their name, phone number, email address, and city. The report should also include the date and time of the occurrence, the number of occurrences, and the suspected source of the noise.
