The Brigham City Council has released an agenda for its upcoming meeting scheduled for September 3, 2026, according to a notice posted August 27.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM at the City Council Chambers located at 20 North Main. The agenda includes a scheduled delegation regarding a Chamber Peach Days update from Monica Holdaway.
One action item involves the consideration of a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a memorandum of understanding with Utah State University and Hi-Tech. This collaboration would focus on a technical training, certification, and research and development campus, according to the agenda provided by Derek Oyler.
The council will also consider the approval of meeting minutes from the August 13, 2026, Truth in Taxation meeting and the August 20, 2026, City Council meeting. Additionally, a closed session is planned to discuss matters including real property, pending litigation, cyber security, or individual health and competence.
