Utah State men's basketball will host the Omaha Mavericks for the first all-time meeting between the programs on Saturday, Nov. 7. The game is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum and will be streamed for free on the Pac-12 YouTube channel.
The Aggies enter the matchup with a 1-0 record following a 94-58 win over Idaho State on Nov. 2. In that season opener, Kingston Tosi recorded 26 points, five rebounds, and three steals on 11-of-16 shooting, marking the highest scoring debut by any Utah State player since 1990. Other contributors in the victory included Will Hornseth with 16 points and Solomon Callaghan with 14 points.
This season marks Utah State's inaugural year as a member of the Pac-12 Conference after 12 years in the Mountain West Conference. The team is led by head coach Ben Jacobson, who joined the program on March 30, 2026. Jacobson requires only two more wins to reach 400 career victories at the Division I level.
The Aggies roster includes returning players Mason Falslev and Karson Templin, who previously earned Mountain West Player of the Year and Sixth Man of the Year honors, respectively. Falslev currently has 22 points remaining to reach 1,500 career points. Additionally, Dallin Hall is six points away from reaching 1,000 career points.
While season tickets for the 2026-27 season are sold out, fans can purchase single-game tickets or a nonconference pass that includes all home nonconference games.
Utah State finished the previous season with a 29-7 overall record and a 15-5 record in conference play. The team won both the Mountain West regular season title and the Mountain West Tournament championship, marking the program's 19th conference title and 11th tournament championship. The 29 wins recorded last season represented the third-most in program history.
The Aggies will welcome in-state opponent Utah Tech to the Spectrum on Tuesday, Nov. 10. That game is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on the Pac-12 YouTube page.
