He stated that the resurrection of Christ represents God's decisive response to sin, death, and despair, proving that love, light, mercy, and life have triumphed.
Bishop Solis addressed the current state of humanity, noting that the celebration of Easter occurs amid wounds caused by wars, violence, bitterness, and polarization. He remarked that many families face fear and uncertainty rather than peace and security.
According to the Bishop, the Resurrection provides assurance that suffering and death do not define the future. He noted that Christ's light can dispel the darkness of painful realities and that the Resurrection proclaims that death does not have the last word.
The Bishop expressed that where bombs destroy, Christ restores, and where hatred hardens hearts, He opens a way of mercy. He stated that the grace of the Risen Christ provides new beginnings and challenges believers to bear witness to the power of God's love.
Solis called on the faithful to reject indifference to the suffering of the poor and to resist retreating into fear or resentment. He encouraged building bridges of unity and peace through acts of compassion, reconciliation, and justice.
The Bishop concluded by asking to entrust lives and the world to the mercy of God. He offered prayers for a grace-filled and happy Easter to the faithful and their loved ones.
