Food trucks on campus change with the U’s new meal plan options
After their contracts were terminated by the University of Utah three weeks ago, food trucks from previous years might not return to campus this fall. The vendors affected are Bento Truck, Kafe’ Mamai, Olive’s Oasis, Vietopia, Sergio’s Pizza and Chimichurri Grill, who have been serving campus for up to 13 years.

18-year-old charged with alleged hate crime, threatening to kill victim based on sexual orientation
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — On Thursday, the Salt Lake County Attorney announced charges filed against an 18-year-old who was arrested last week after he was accused of threatening to kill an individual and their family because of the individual's sexual orientation. Three of the charges have been enhanced with victim targeting penalties.

Man arrested in stabbing on Salt Lake City TRAX
The victim was taken to a hospital with serious injuries that did not appear life-threatening. He explained that it was fairly busy at the time of the stabbing, and about a dozen people likely witnessed what happened. "We had ordinary citizens getting involved in the situation so there's a lot of people who are due some gratitude," Gustafson said.
