The Highland City Council is scheduled to hold a public hearing on September 15, 2026, to consider a business use request for a veterinary clinic, according to a September 3 notice.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm at the Highland City Council Chambers located at 5400 West Civic Center Dr in Highland.
The City Council will receive public comments regarding a request from Heather Richards of Bloom Studio for Sploot Veterinary Care. The request involves adding 'Small Animal Veterinary Clinic' to the list of permitted uses for the CR Zone, located at the northwest corner of Alpine Hwy and Timpanogos Hwy.
The proposed clinic intends to operate from the building located at 5406 W 11000 N, Highland.
