The Highland Library announced several upcoming programs in a report published August 28. The scheduled activities include a dance workshop and a tabletop gaming introduction.
The Movement from Memory: A Journey Through Gesture dance course with Meghan Wall was scheduled for September 4 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Highland Library. The 90-minute session is designed for all ages and abilities, with chairs available for those who need them. This course is grant funded by the Utah Creative Aging Coalition's 2026 Kaleidoscope Festival.
A Dungeons & Dragons 101 Workshop is also scheduled for participants ages 11 and older. The workshop is intended for teens and adults to learn the basics of the game and how to create a hero. Attendees were encouraged to bring their own polyhedral dice, though no game session was planned for the date of the workshop.
The library previously noted that there was no programming in August.
