The Highland City Library Board scheduled a meeting for August 27, 2026, to discuss several municipal items, according to a August 26 statement. The meeting is set to take place at Highland City Hall.
The meeting, which was scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m., included an agenda to welcome new board member Rhett Weller. Amy Brinton, the Board Chair, was scheduled to call the meeting to order.
Discussion items for the meeting included a review of the budget and the property tax increase timeline. The board was also scheduled to discuss the 2029-2034 strategic plan, the collection development policy review, the circulation policy review, and the annual recertification process. The board was also scheduled to review the June 2026 meeting minutes.
