Marji Mozart, a multifaceted artist including singer, songwriter, and pianist, was featured in a recent session of Paper Jams at Cloud 9 Studios. Mozart performed original songs such as Just You & Me and Villain during the session.
Mozart's musical background includes performing in show choirs and as a solo act, having started writing her own songs at age eight. She stated that music comes easily to her and brings her joy, and she expressed a desire to share that joy with others through her music.
Her personal history includes growing up in an FLDS community in Colorado City, Arizona, before leaving with the assistance of an advocacy group in 2018.
Mozart was scheduled to perform at the St. George Sunrise Rotary Club's annual fundraising gala on March 14 and at the Washington County Fair later that spring.
