The Highland City Public Library Board is scheduled to meet on August 27, 2026, at Highland City Hall to discuss various municipal and library policies, according to an agenda published August 26.
Board Chair Amy Brinton is scheduled to call the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will include the welcome of new board member Rhett Weller.
The agenda for the upcoming meeting includes a discussion regarding the budget review and property tax increase timeline. Other discussion items include reviews of the collection development policy and the circulation policy.
Additional topics scheduled for discussion include the 2029-2034 strategic plan and the annual recertification process. The board will also address action and policy items as presented.
