The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority Arts at the Airport Program seeks to commission an artist to create custom conference tables to be placed inside the new Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority Headquarters and Police Station building. This artwork will be thematic, public-facing, and part of the permanent collection at the airport.
Budget: $80,000 – Deadline: Aug. 27, 2026
The City of Surprise, AZ is seeking qualifications from artists for the creation of a permanent public artwork at the new Police Substation. The artwork should complement the architecture of the facility while contributing to the identity of this growing area of the city.
Budget: $165,000 – Deadline: Aug. 31, 2026
The City of Aurora, CO Art in Public Places Program seeks qualifications from Indigenous artists for the second of five public art commissions planned for the Plains Conservation Center. This opportunity calls for a three-dimensional public artwork that reflects the ecological, cultural, and historical significance of the shortgrass prairie while creating a meaningful visitor experience and serving as a distinctive landmark within the conservation center.
Budget: $90,000 – Deadline: Sep. 3, 2026
The Town of Parker, CO requests qualifications from artists or artist teams interested in creating a public sculpture for the exterior area in front of the newly completed Parker Town Hall. The community is looking for a sculpture that is unique to Parker, which is rooted in its rural western history and heritage, but very proud of its bright future.

New Mexico Arts’ Art in Public Places Program announces the 2026 Southwest Artists Series Purchase Initiative. The objective of this initiative is to diversify the state's public art collection by purchasing artwork from artists in all stages of their careers. The call is open to artists who reside in, and galleries that are located in, the Southwest: New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Purchase Budget: $5,000-50,000 – Deadline: Oct. 1, 2026
The City of Arvada’s Arts & Culture Commission invites professional artists and artist teams to submit qualifications and concepts for the creation of a sculpture near the new Arvada Aquatics Center. This landmark artwork will serve as a visual icon for the neighborhood and facility, showcasing a celebration of water, movement, and community.
Budget: $74,500 – Deadline: Oct. 4, 2026
The Town of Basalt, CO, through the Basalt Public Arts Commission is accepting proposals to create a unique sculpture for the Town of Basalt that will be located within the landscaped roundabout at Willits Town Center in West Basalt. The sculpture should capture the atmosphere, energy, and architectural character of the surrounding area.

The Town of Davie, FL is seeking an artist or artist team to design an artistic, colorful seating area in Owls Lookout Park. The medium may include mosaics, but is not a requirement.

The City of Sarasota, FL invites artists and artist teams to submit qualifications for a public art installation at the City’s One Stop Shop. Proposals may include sculptural, architectural, mural-based, relief-based, mosaic, light-based, interpretive, or mixed-media artworks.
Budget: $100,000 – Deadline: Aug. 31, 2026
The Art in Public Places Program of New Mexico Arts at the NM Department of Cultural Affairs, in collaboration with Spaceport America, seeks an artist/artist team to create a public art sundial for the newly built Spaceport Technology and Reception Center. The intent of the sundial is to creatively represent the origins of measurement and human curiosity.
Budget: $300,000 – Deadline: Sept. 4, 2026
The City of Highland Park seeks to commission one artist or artist-led team to create a sculpture that will serve as a Place of Remembrance at Port Clinton within the Central Business District in Highland Park, IL. The final artwork should reflect themes identified through prior public engagement, the usage of the space, and additional input received during the process while allowing for artistic interpretation.
Budget: $200,000 – Deadline: Sep. 11, 2026
The San Francisco Arts Commission invites artists and artist teams to submit qualifications for the Ingleside Police Station Replacement Public Art Project. The artwork should be informed by the people, history, and character of the surrounding area and create a welcoming space in the station’s community room.

The City of Carmel, IN is seeking an artist or artist team to create signature sculptures for one or two roundabouts in the newly established Flower District. The sculpture(s) should act as a landmark for the area and incorporate lighting to be enjoyed both day and night.

The City of Segundo, CA is seeking proposals from artists to contribute site-specific artwork that complements and enhances the updated Teen Center facilities. The artwork will serve as a visual focal point, helping to inspire a sense of pride and ownership among teens, while reflecting the energy and creativity of the El Segundo youth community.
Budget: $97,750 – Deadline: Sep. 16, 2026
DFW Airport seeks to exhibit multiple digital artworks in animated or video format across multiple baggage claim screens in Terminal C. The artwork should contribute to a more welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, providing calming and visually engaging content to reduce travelers' stress levels during their wait.
Budget: $50,000 – Deadline: Sep. 16, 2026
The City of Bellingham,WA is seeking artist(s) to create artwork for the children and teen space in the phase 2 renovation of the Bellingham central library. The committee is looking for artwork that connects with the natural world and appeals to the younger generation that will inhabit the space.

Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, through its Art in Public Places Program, and Miami-Dade Aviation Department request qualifications from artists interested in being considered for the development of full proposals for artwork at various locations throughout Miami International Airport.

LexArts and Central Bank Center invite artists and artist-led teams to submit qualifications for a major public art commission on the west façade of Central Bank Center and Rupp Arena in downtown Lexington, KY. The selected artwork will strengthen the visual identity of the building, contribute to Lexington’s cultural landscape, and serve as an iconic feature for residents and visitors alike.

The City of Clearwater Public Art & Design Program is seeking artists or artist teams to create public artwork for Clearwater's newly renovated Coachman Park. The selected artwork will serve as a recognizable landmark and destination feature that encourages interaction, photography, and social media engagement while celebrating the unique identity of Clearwater.

Palm Beach County's Art in Public Places program seeks to commission an artist or artist team to create artwork for the renovated Aqua Crest Aquatic Complex. The desired artwork should be made of tiles (e.g., ceramic, porcelain, terracotta, stone, glass) to be surface-mounted to walls.

The Preservation Society of Newport County, RI invites artists to submit proposals for site-specific, functional garden benches inspired by the landscapes, horticultural traditions, and history of Green Animals Topiary Garden in Portsmouth, RI.

The Western States Arts Federation’s Public Art Art Archive invites artists who are not already listed, to submit artwork for inclusion in a national online database of public art. To be considered, you must be a professional artist who has completed and installed public artwork.
