The West Haven Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Oct. 28, 2026, to discuss a proposed rezoning for several parcels located at 3535 W 2550 S, according to a Oct. 15 notice.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM in the Council Chambers at 4150 South 3900 West, West Haven, Utah.
The proposed amendment to the zoning map involves four specific parcels: 150880019, 150880037, 150880038, and 150880050. The request seeks to rezone the 5.042-acre area from C-1 to C-2.
Interested parties may participate in the hearing in person or digitally via Zoom. All written submissions must be received by 4:30 PM on Oct. 28, 2026, to be provided to the Planning Commission and City Council.
Under current West Haven City Code, the C-1 zone is classified as neighborhood commercial zoning, which is intended to provide limited commercial services within neighborhood areas. This designation includes more restrictions regarding building height, setbacks, and uses than other commercial zones.
The proposed C-2 zone is a community commercial zone designed to provide a broader range of commercial uses than C-1. This designation features fewer restrictions regarding uses, setbacks, and building heights.
