Summit County residents can enjoy free festival admission to the 2026 Park City Kimball Arts Festival during Locals' Night on Friday evening, August 7. The event, held on Historic Main Street, offers complimentary entry to residents and homeowners from 5 to 9 p.m.
Locals' Night is designed to celebrate the community, bringing neighbors, families, artists, and friends together for an evening featuring art, live music, and food. Jaimie Mitchell, a Development Specialist at Kimball Art Center, stated that Locals' Night serves as a way to celebrate the people who make Summit County a special place to live, noting that the event often feels like a reunion on Main Street.
Attendees can access nearly 200 juried artists representing 13 artistic mediums. The evening will feature live music on two stages with performances by Theoretical Blonde, Cosmis Possom, Trio Fratelli, and Will Baxter. Other activities include food trucks, local restaurants, and the Creation Station on Heber Avenue, which offers free community art projects, paid take-home activities, and a children's scavenger hunt.
To receive complimentary admission, eligible guests must register online in advance at kimballartsfestival.org/locals-only/. Registration allows for one adult ticket and up to two children's tickets for children ages 6-17 per order. Children ages 5 and younger receive free admission without needing a ticket. Guests must present a valid photo ID showing a Summit County address or a current utility bill if the ID does not reflect the current address.
Non-residents may still attend the Friday night festivities by purchasing tickets for $15. It is important to note that complimentary Locals' Night tickets are only available through advance online registration and will not be available at the festival gates.
The 57th annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival runs from August 7-9, 2026. While Locals' Night provides free entry for residents, the festival serves as a major fundraiser for the Kimball Art Center to support exhibitions, arts education, and community programs. The center does not take commissions on artist sales, allowing artists to retain 100 percent of their sales.
