The Town of Altamont is accepting sealed proposals from qualified attorneys or law firms to provide Town Attorney services, according to a notice on the town's website.
Proposals for the position must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 12, 2026. The town stated that late submissions will not be considered.
All proposals received by the deadline will be publicly opened during a regularly scheduled Town Council meeting on August 12, 2026.
The Town of Altamont will evaluate the proposals based on the criteria outlined in the RFP. An award decision is anticipated during a scheduled Town Council meeting held for the purpose of awarding a contract to the selected attorney on August 19, 2026.
The Town of Altamont reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities in the proposal process when it is determined to be in the best interest of the Town.
