Cammi Blaser, the new assistant in the Springville High School athletic department, shared insights regarding the department's busy schedule and operations in a recent media feature.
Blaser noted that the department does not have off seasons and manages 22 sports for the fall season alone.
According to Blaser, there are 362 Springville High students registered for sports.
Blaser also described the behind-the-scenes preparation required on game days. Tasks include writing scripts for announcers, setting up for games, and preparing scoreboards and sponsorships until the start of an event.
