Advanced Placement Registration Details
Springville High School has provided comprehensive guidelines for students intending to enroll in Advanced Placement (AP) courses and exams. According to school documentation, students must follow a two-step registration process. First, students must visit Total Registration to create or log in to an account, select their courses and tests, and retrieve specific codes. Second, students must log in to the AP College Board website to join their courses using those codes, ensuring they explicitly select the option to take the exam.
The school has emphasized the importance of verifying schedules before committing to exams, noting that students should check family and sports schedules against the May test dates listed on the school website. For those taking only the course without the exam, the process remains similar but requires selecting the option to not take the test on the College Board site.
AP Deadlines and Refund Policies
Strict deadlines have been established for AP course and exam payments to avoid additional costs. The school stated that the fee deadline for all payments is November 2. Students who miss this deadline will face late fees. Specifically, late registration fees between November 3 and November 12 will cost $10 per exam, while fees incurred after November 12 will increase to $40 per exam.
Regarding refunds, the school has set specific milestones for students seeking to withdraw. A student can receive a full refund for classes starting before mid-November if they meet the November 8 deadline. For those seeking a partial refund after that point, the school maintains a cancellation fee of $40. The final deadline for all AP registration and payments is scheduled for March 6, 2026.

To support student well-being, Springville High School provides a virtual calming room known as Red Devil Reset. This tool is designed to help students manage emotions and find relief from stress and activities of life through brief breaks of 10 to 15 minutes.
The platform includes various tools and strategies, such as visual relaxation, games for brief distraction, meditation to clear the mind, art for self-expression, and resources to help students recognize and label their emotions. The school advises that if a student cannot return to regular activities after a 10-15 minute break, they should seek additional help.
