According to a notice posted August 25, the Town of Hanksville will hold a public hearing on Sept. 3, 2026, regarding the Hanksville Town Culinary Water Project. The meeting will focus on the town's application to the Permanent Community Impact Board for project funding.
The hearing is scheduled to take place at the Hanksville Community Center, located at 30 S Highway 95, Hanksville, UT 84734. The session is slated to run from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
During the hearing, the council intends to solicit comments regarding the size, scope, and nature of the funding request for the water project. The town stated that all interested persons will have the opportunity to be heard.
