The Town of Hanksville scheduled a public hearing for September 3, 2026, to discuss applying to the Permanent Community Impact Board (CIB) for funding of the Hanksville Town Culinary Water Project, according to a August 25 notice.
The hearing was scheduled to take place from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hanksville Community Center, located at 30 S Highway 95, Hanksville, Utah. During the meeting, the council intended to solicit comments regarding the size, scope, and nature of the funding request for the water project. All interested persons were to be given an opportunity to be heard.
