Real Salt Lake will host FC Juárez on Tuesday in a must-win Leagues Cup Phase One finale, according to an August 10 report. The match represents the third of at least three 2026 Leagues Cup home matches for the club.
The Tuesday match is part of a 15-day stretch on the Wasatch Front where Real Salt Lake is playing five home games. This sequence includes three Leagues Cup contests and two MLS regular-season matches through August 19.
Real Salt Lake enters the contest with an 8W-6L-3T record and 27 points, placing them fifth in the MLS Western Conference. The club's recent performance includes a 4-0 victory against Atlante CF on a Saturday, which snapped a five-game winless run across multiple competitions.
The match against FC Juárez marks the first time the Liga MX side has visited Utah. FC Juárez was founded as a second-division side in 2015 and ascended to Liga MX in 2019.
To advance to the Quarterfinals as one of four MLS sides from the competition, Real Salt Lake likely needs to accrue seven points and achieve a significant goal differential.
