South Dakota State and Weber State have finalized a home-and-home football series to be played over the next two seasons. The 2027 date completes the Jackrabbits' nonconference schedule for the upcoming campaign, according to South Dakota State University Athletics.
Weber State will host the first meeting on Sept. 11, 2027, at Stewart Stadium in Ogden, Utah. SDSU is scheduled to host the return game on Sept. 16, 2028, at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium.
The 2027 matchup will be the first meeting between the programs since 1976. Weber State holds a 3-0 series lead.
Additionally, SDSU will begin the 2027 season on the road against Iowa State on Aug. 28. The Jackrabbits' four-game nonconference slate also includes home games against St. Thomas on Sept. 4 and Southeastern Louisiana on Sept. 18.
The game against Southeastern Louisiana concludes a home-and-home series that began with a 41-0 Jackrabbit road win in 2024. Game times and the 2027 Missouri Valley Football Conference schedule will be announced at later dates.
