The Wolverines secured a sweep at the SUU Color Country Invitational in Cedar City, Utah, with both the men's and women's teams taking first place.
The women's team earned its sixth consecutive team title, while the men's team won the meet for the third consecutive year.
In the men's 7k race, Mark Boyle secured his first collegiate career win with a time of 22:10.32. Other top finishers for UVU included Cameron Jacobs in second, Trey Despain in third, Porter Whitworth in fourth, and Wyatt Mortenson in sixth.
The women's team achieved victory in the 5k race, led by Reagan Doman, who recorded her first collegiate career win with a time of 17:46.84. Doman was followed by Sophia Biesinger in second, Artana Nice in third, Graysen Lanenga in sixth, and Natalia Boltz in seventh.
UVU is scheduled to compete in the Under Armour Pre-National Invitational in Indiana on Oct. 16. This event serves as the final preparation before The Big West Championships at the end of the month.
