The Provo City Board of Adjustment is scheduled to hold a public meeting on Monday, Oct. 19, 2026, to address a specific appeal regarding a residential subdivision project. According to a Oct. 1 notice, the hearing will focus on a request to appeal a prior Planning Commission approval.
Jeremy Neish has requested an appeal to the Board of Adjustment regarding a Planning Commission approval for a project plan. The plan involves a 50-lot residential subdivision located approximately at 2085 S Montana Ave. in the Provost South Neighborhood. The area is situated within the R1.6(PD)(CH) zone, which is designated for one-family residential use with performance development and critical hillside overlay.
The public meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. and is expected to conclude by 8:00 p.m. at the Council Chambers. A pre-meeting will be held prior to the formal session at 4:30 p.m. in the Provo Peak Conference Room. While the pre-meeting is open to the public, formal presentations and actions will be reserved for the 5:00 p.m. meeting. The notice stated that there will be no public comment during this proceeding.

Decisions made by the Board of Adjustment may be appealed to the 4th District Court. Per Section 14.05.050 of the Provo City Code, a written appeal must be filed with the court within thirty days after the Board of Adjustment issues its decision.
