As an immigrant and your Council Chair, I’m remarkably proud of our City & County Building’s new art installation that honors the people who continue to shape our city’s past, present and future. “The New Americans: Portraits of Struggle, Spirit and Inspiration” is a powerful exhibit highlighting how, since the beginning of our beautiful city, our community has been built by people willing to take a leap of faith in pursuit of a better future.
