The Salt Lake County Library Board of Directors scheduled a regular meeting for 12:30 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026, according to a report published August 20. The meeting was set to take place at the Daybreak branch located at 11358 S Grandville Ave, South Jordan.
The agenda for the meeting included an introduction to the Daybreak branch by Assistant Library Manager Liz Thompson and several action items. These items included the approval of minutes from the June 22, 2026, Board meeting and discussions regarding the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Borrowing Policy, the Bulletin Board Policy and Community Information Policy, the Filming Policy, and the Meeting and Study Room Policy.
Staff reports were also scheduled, including a director's report from Joey McNamee, a human resources update from Pamela Park, and a facilities update from Jené Mortensen.
