The Tooele County School District has released its academic calendar for September 2026, detailing a month filled with early release days for elementary and secondary students, high school homecoming festivities, and scheduled parent-teacher conferences.
Early Release and Holiday Schedule
The district calendar for September 2026 includes several early release days for both elementary and secondary students. Elementary students are scheduled for early release on Tuesday, September 2, Wednesday, September 3, Thursday, September 10, and Wednesday, September 17. Secondary students will observe early release on Thursday, September 4, Friday, September 5, and Wednesday, September 24.
District Meetings and Holidays
Students in the district will have no classes on Monday, September 7, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Additionally, the Tooele County School District Board of Education has two meetings scheduled for the month. A Board of Education meeting is set for Tuesday, September 8, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and a Board of Education Work Session is scheduled for Tuesday, September 22, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
High School Homecoming Events
The month features a series of homecoming events across various high schools. Wendover High School will host its homecoming on Thursday, September 10. Tooele High School and Deseret Peak High School are both scheduled to hold homecoming celebrations on Friday, September 18.
