Harmful algal bloom advisories are in effect for Utah Lake and various other water bodies in Utah County, according to a notice from the Utah County Health Department.
In a notice posted on August 12, 2026, the health department identified multiple locations under different advisory levels.
The current advisories include a danger advisory for Lindon Marina.
Warning advisories have been issued for Utah Lake lake-wide, the Salem Pond South Arm and Salem Pond Knoll Beach, and the Lower Jordan River.
Additionally, a health watch is in effect for Fifth Water Hot Springs.
For ongoing recreational water quality updates, the public can visit the DEQ Recreational Water Quality website.
