Salt Lake County Library programs offered diverse community engagement on Monday, June 15, featuring interactive storytime sessions for infants and toddlers, a teen reading hour in Kearns, and a senior book club meeting in Millcreek.
Morning virtual and infant programs
Early morning programming included an online 'Zoom Into Storytime' for families from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. In Draper, the library hosted 'Baby and Me' from 10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., a session designed for infants newborn to 18 months and their caregivers.
Toddler sessions in South Jordan
South Jordan hosted two separate sessions at its meeting room: 'Toddler Time' for ages 1.5 to 3 from 10:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by 'Playtime for Littles' from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for children aged 1 to 5.
Preschooler and senior book club
Additional activities on Monday included 'Storytime Station' in Draper from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for preschoolers, and the Millcreek Morning Book Club at the Millcreek Senior Center, which met from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to discuss 'The Collected Regrets of Clover' by M. Brammer.
Teen events and shape challenge
Other scheduled events included a 'Teen Story Hour' in Kearns from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., featuring coloring and light music, as well as an all-day 'Nasca Lines Match' challenge in Taylorsville where participants could earn prizes by matching geometric shapes.

The Nasca Lines Match event in Taylorsville is scheduled to run through June 20.
