By using these kits as a rotating collection, small schools or local libraries can test student interest in different genres before committing to permanent purchases. The Utah State Library stated that providing popular manga in Spanish helps students and patrons feel that their language and interests are valued.
The borrowing process is designed to be simple, with the Utah State Library assisting with logistics. Kits typically circulate for up to four months and may be renewed if there is no waiting list.
