The Oakley City Council was scheduled to conduct a regular meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026, according to a document released Sept. 15. The meeting was slated to take place at 7:00 PM at Oakley City Hall, located at 960 West Center Street.
The meeting agenda included several items for action and discussion. The consent calendar was set to address meeting minutes, an invoice register through Sept. 15, 2026, and deputy reports. Additionally, the council was scheduled to discuss alternative terms for a Verizon Cellular lease and conduct an annual review of the Oakley Arena report.
The Mayor's report was scheduled to include an update on motorized vehicles on city trails. Various councilmembers were assigned specific reporting areas, including wastewater, the rodeo facility, the rodeo committee, roads, the celebration committee, the water system, parks, trails, and open space.
The council held the authority to enter a closed executive session for reasons authorized by Utah Code Annotated 52-4-205. The city noted that individuals requiring special accommodations for the meeting could notify Amy Rydalch at least 24 hours in advance.
