The Dutch John Planning and Zoning Commission scheduled a work session and regular meeting for September 2, 2026, according to a August 31 notice.
The meeting is set to begin with a work session at 6:00 PM, followed by a regular public meeting at 7:00 PM at 560 South Blvd in Dutch John.
The work session is scheduled to address ordinance updates and recommendations for the general plan update.
During the regular meeting, the commission will address several items, including the potential swearing in of Julie Handy and discussion regarding a Dark Sky Initiative. The agenda also includes a consent agenda covering meeting minutes, correspondence, and building permits, as well as reports from the Mayor and the Land Use Administrator.
Public comment is permitted for up to three minutes per individual or group spokesperson. While the public may address the commission on matters not listed on the agenda, the commission is restricted from discussing or taking legal action on non-noticed matters during this time.
