The medical technology company focuses on designing neurovascular tools intended for patients suffering from acute ischemic stroke. These tools are designed to be inserted into a blood vessel and directed toward a blood clot to remove the blockage quickly.
By helping doctors reach blood clots in patients' brains faster, the company aims to save lives during critical moments when time is essential. The neurovascular tools developed by the company are intended to assist doctors on a global scale.
West Jordan economic development manager Paul Coates stated that the city welcomes the expansion of Route 92 Medical and anticipates a positive impact from this investment.
Coates noted that beyond job growth in a key industry, the project will improve the ability to invest in infrastructure and high-quality services for residents. He expressed pride that West Jordan will contribute to technology that saves lives worldwide.
