The Kaysville City Council is scheduled to hold a regular council meeting on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 7:00 PM. The meeting will take place in the Council Chambers at Kaysville City Hall, located at 23 East Center Street.
A public hearing is scheduled for 7:00 PM regarding the issuance of not more than $6,500,000 in Sales Tax Revenue Bonds. The hearing will also address any potential economic impact that the improvements, facility, or property financed by the proceeds of these bonds may have on the private sector. Prior to the meeting, the City Council will be available for a Q&A session at 6:30 PM to answer questions or discuss matters with the public.
Action items for the meeting include a vote on a rezoning request and development agreement for property at 472 North Main Street. The proposal would change the designation from R-1-8 (Single-Family Residential) to GC (General Commercial) with a MU (Mixed-Use) Zoning District Overlay for Chadd Watson. Additionally, the council will consider an ordinance amending Section 17-24-3 of the Kaysville City Code regarding separation requirements between animal structures and dwellings, and an ordinance amending Section 17-4-6 to allow land use appeals to be heard by an administrative law judge.
The council will also consider adopting a resolution authorizing the use of a preliminary official statement related to the issuance and sale of up to $6,500,000 in aggregate principal amount of Sales Tax Revenue Bonds. Other consent items include approvals for interlocal cooperation agreements with Davis County for fire services and with Davis Technical College and Davis School District for the use and maintenance of shared facilities. The council is also scheduled to review updates to the Kaysville City Storm Water Management Plan.
The Kaysville City Redevelopment Agency Board will also meet to consider a resolution authorizing reimbursement of public infrastructure expenditures from the Flint Street Community Development Project Area. The council meeting will be streamed live on YouTube, with a link available at www.KaysvilleLive.com.
