The Brigham City Library has launched its summer programming lineup, featuring a multi-age reading challenge and themed community events scheduled through August.
Reading challenge registration details
The library's summer reading challenge, titled "Unearth a Story," is open for registration for both children and adults. Participants can visit the library between June 1 and July 18 to sign up for the program.
How to participate and win
To participate in the reading challenge, attendees must pick up an activity log specific to their age group and complete the listed tasks. The library requires all completed activity logs to be turned in by August 1, with grand prize drawings scheduled for August 3.
Upcoming storytime and Lego events
Other scheduled library activities include Summer Storytime and the Summer Lego Club. The Summer Storytime sessions for children ages 3 to 6 are held on Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m., with an upcoming session noted for July 7. The Summer Lego Club, which meets once a month on the second Thursday, has a scheduled session for July 9 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The Summer Lego Club event is currently listed as full, though individuals may join a waitlist for the July 9 meeting. Both the Storytime and Lego Club events are held in the library's combined Rooms 1 and 2.
