Students can get a closer look at potential career paths during a free Youth Career Exploration Event on Wednesday, August 26, from 1 to 3 PM at the Valley Crossroads Chamber of Commerce.

The event offers youth an interactive way to learn more about different occupations and consider careers they may not have previously explored. Using virtual reality technology, participants can experience simulated workplace activities and get a better understanding of what different jobs involve.

The career exploration experience is designed to help students connect their interests with potential career opportunities. Participants can explore a variety of industries, including healthcare, construction, technology, public safety, manufacturing, transportation, agriculture, business and more.

In addition to learning about different occupations, the experience can help students identify the types of skills, education and training that may be needed to pursue careers that interest them.

The event is hosted by the Valley Crossroads Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Utah Department of Workforce Services. The event is free and provides an opportunity for local youth to explore career possibilities in an interactive setting.
