Moab couple accused of child torture pleads no contest to reduced charges
On Tuesday, Jeremiah pleaded no contest to attempted child torture, amended down to a second-degree felony.
Jeremiah and Jennifer Perkins enter no-contest pleas on Oct.
When asked by the judge, both Perkins acknowledged they were entering the plea because there is a risk that they would be convicted of child torture at trial.
