Eight Spanish Fork High School rodeo athletes represented the Dons at the National High School Finals Rodeo in Lincoln, Nebraska, from July 19 to July 25. The competitors faced off against the top high school rodeo athletes in the country.
Ace Austin earned titles as the National Champion in Steer Wrestling and the National All-Around Champion. Burk Austin was named the Reserve National Champion in Steer Wrestling and the Reserve All-Around Champion.
Additional accomplishments included Ace and Burk Austin placing 4th in Team Roping during the second go-round. Tate Crandall placed 5th in Team Roping during the first go-round, while Burk Austin placed 4th in Tie-Down Roping during the first go-round.
The athletes recognized for their representation of Spanish Fork High School at the national level include Ace Austin, Burk Austin, Bella Bigler, Tate Crandall, Jhet Hanks, Landon Hanks, Hadlie Olsen, and Rachel Whitehead.
