Harmful algal bloom advisories are in effect for Utah Lake and several other water bodies located in Utah County, according to a notice from the Utah County Health Department.
The Utah County Health Department has issued a Danger Advisory for Lindon Marina.
Additional Warning Advisories have been issued for Utah Lake lake-wide, Salem Pond South Arm, Salem Pond Knoll Beach, Lower Jordan River, Big East Lake, McClellan Lake, and Highland Glen Reservoir.
A Health Watch has also been issued for Fifth Water Hot Springs.
For ongoing updates regarding recreational water quality, the Utah County Health Department advises visiting the DEQ Recreational Water Quality website. The DEQ website can also be used to check current conditions for specific water bodies prior to visiting.
