Grantsville City Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. to receive input regarding proposed amendments to the city's Capital Facilities Plans (CFPs), Impact Fee Facilities Plans (IFF
Ps), and Impact Fee Analyses (IFAs).
The proposed updates involve plans for drinking water, public safety, parks, wastewater, storm drainage, and water rights acquisition. These amendments are being considered under Utah Code Annotated §11-36a-502 to address current and projected infrastructure needs for growth within Grantsville City.
Transportation-related plans are not included in this specific set of amendments but will be addressed at a future public hearing.
The public hearing is scheduled to take place in person at Grantsville City Hall, located at 429 E. Main Street, Grantsville, Utah, 84029. Residents may also participate electronically via Zoom.
Public comments can be provided during the meeting or submitted electronically. Written comments can be sent to City Recorder Alicia Fairbourne at afairbourne@grantsvilleut.gov. To ensure they are considered by the City Council and entered into the public record, written comments must be received by 12:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting.
Copies of the proposed Impact Fee Facilities Plans and Impact Fee Analyses will be available for review at least 10 days before the hearing. These documents can be viewed at Grantsville City Hall during regular business hours, on the city's official website, or via the Utah Public Notice Website.
