The Lehi Planning Commission was scheduled to hold public hearings on Sept. 10 to consider five different land-use items, according to a Sept. 8 report. The agenda included a request from AT&T to mount a cell antenna on the roof of Primary Children's Hospital and proposed updates to the city's development agreement rules.
AT&T requested conditional use approval to place a telecommunications antenna on the roof of the Primary Children's Hospital located at 2250 N. Miller Campus Drive. The project, identified as the AT&T River Walk Preliminary Children's Antenna, was previously scheduled for the Aug. 27 meeting before being pulled from that agenda.
Other items on the agenda included architectural exceptions for a storage building at the Outlets at Traverse Mountain. Uncommon Architecture, representing the outlets at 3800 Cabela's Blvd., requested exceptions for a building intended to house holiday decorations. The applicant requested that the building blend into the hillside and requested exceptions regarding setbacks, exterior insulation and finish system material limits, glass requirements, and the omission of certain architectural features.
Additionally, the commission was set to review a proposed rewrite of Chapter 29 of the Development Code. This update, which governs development agreements, would require such agreements to pass through the Development Review Committee and the Planning Commission before going to the City Council. The proposed change would also require applicants to explain the duration and conclusion of development agreements.
Two additional items included an exception request from Adam Albrecht for the Garden Park Subdivision at approximately 500 S. Center St. to replace a 6-foot no-climb fence with an 8-foot wall along the railroad corridor. The Alpine Bible Church at 710 W. Main St. also sought an exception regarding the city's glass requirements for its building.
The meetings were scheduled for 7 p.m. at the City Council Chambers located at 131 N. 100 E. Residents interested in participating could attend the meeting or contact the City Recorder at 385-201-2269 for disability accommodations.
