Ned LeDoux was scheduled to perform his Bareback Jack Tribute during a free City of St. George Concert in the Park. The event was part of the Dixie Days celebration and was slated for September 14, 2026, at 7 p.m. at Vernon Worthen Park.
The concert was intended to mark the 50th anniversary of Chris LeDoux’s Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) bareback world championship. Ned LeDoux, the son of country icon Chris LeDoux, has been performing his father's music in select cities across the United States.
St. George Mayor Jimmie Hughes stated that the artist would be a perfect performer for the September Concert in the Park and expressed excitement regarding his involvement in Dixie Days. According to the mayor, the music serves to bring communities together and celebrate local values.
Ned LeDoux has been a touring musician since his teenage years and has released solo music since 2017. His discography includes the albums Sagebrush, Buckskin, and Safe Haven. His latest album, Safe Haven, was named in honor of his daughter, Haven Jo, and includes a track titled One Hand on the Riggin, which features a vocal performance recorded by his father two decades ago.
The concert was part of a week of entertainment celebrating the pioneer heritage of St. George. Attendees were encouraged to bring picnic items, blankets, and lawn chairs to the park located at 300 S 400 E in St. George.
