The Park City Historic Preservation Board is scheduled to hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, according to a September 18 notice. The meeting is set to take place from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marsac Municipal Building Council Chambers located at 445 Marsac Avenue.
The meeting will feature a work session to review options for incentivizing the preservation of historic structures under the Land Management Code Amendment for Historic Structure Reuse and Renovation. The board will also consider updates to window materials and requirements for non-historic structures within the historic district.
A public hearing is scheduled as part of the regular agenda to discuss proposed amendments to Chapter 15-11 Historic Preservation. These amendments include consolidating regulations for the relocation or reorientation of intact structures, establishing criteria for the protection of historic structures during lifting, and establishing evaluation criteria for material deconstruction. The amendments also aim to establish potential incentives for ski-era architecture. A recommendation regarding these amendments may be made for Planning Commission consideration on November 18, 2026.
The meeting will be available in person and online, with options to listen, watch, or participate virtually. Individuals requiring special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act should notify the Planning Department at 435-615-5060 at least 24 hours before the meeting.
