Cache County has issued a public notice regarding the 2026 General Election, which is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026. The notice provides details on voter registration, mail-in ballots, and available voting locations.
According to the notice, ballots will be mailed to eligible voters starting Oct. 13, 2026. To vote, individuals must be United States citizens, meet Utah's voting-age and residency requirements, and be registered in their specific precinct. The deadline to register and receive a mail ballot is midnight on Oct. 23, 2026. Voters may also register and vote provisionally at early-voting locations or on Election Day, provided they present valid identification and proof of residency.
In-person early voting will be held at two locations:
Utah State University, Taggart Student Center, Aspen Room 221, in Logan, from Oct. 26-29 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Cache Event Center at the Fairgrounds, 490 S 500 W, in Logan, from Oct. 27-30 between noon and 6 p.m.
On Election Day, voting will take place at the Cache Event Center at the Fairgrounds from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Official ballot drop boxes are located throughout the county; most outdoor boxes are available 24 hours a day, though some indoor locations have limited hours. All drop boxes close at 8 p.m. on Election Day.
A public logic and accuracy test of the voting system is scheduled for Oct. 8, 2026, at 9 a.m. at the Cache County Ballot Processing Center. A post-election audit is scheduled for Nov. 6, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. at the same location.
Voters can verify registration and view voter-specific sample ballots at vote.utah.gov. A composite sample ballot containing all certified Cache County contests is available at cachecounty.gov/elections.
