Provost is celebrating the Show Up, Provo! attendance awareness campaign this week through various activities designed to encourage students to attend school regularly and arrive on time, according to a September 29 statement.
During the celebrations, staff members surprised students by dressing as Krispy Kreme workers and handing out donuts to those arriving at school. The school reported a 94% attendance rate for the day.
To reward perfect attendance, classes that achieve 100% attendance receive a mystery envelope containing a surprise. Mrs. Hall’s class and Mrs. Moore’s class were recognized for achieving 100% attendance.
The Show Up, Provo! campaign works to bring schools, families, and the community together to support student attendance. Students are encouraged to arrive at school between 8:05–8:20 a.m. to participate in morning activities.
