A bicyclist was killed in a crash near 1000 East and 800 South in Salt Lake City, according to a August 26 report by Gephardt Daily.
First responders were dispatched to the scene of the incident at approximately 6:13 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
Upon arrival, responders found the bicyclist fatally injured in the roadway. The individual, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Salt Lake City police investigators spent much of Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning at the crash site. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
