To manage the growing number of teams requesting participation, tournament organizers announced they will expand the competition beyond Park City. The tournament will utilize fields in surrounding areas including Kamas, Oakley, Francis, and Heber, in addition to those located throughout the Park City area.
Some matches are scheduled to be played at night under stadium lights. The quality of the Park City facilities is noted for its high standard, with the U.S. Men’s National Team and Real Salt Lake having previously utilized some of these same fields for training sessions.
Upcoming Schedule Milestones
The tournament schedule is nearing its final stages of preparation. While the bracket release occurred on July 7, the official match schedule is expected to be posted on Monday, July 20.
Teams must complete their online check-in processes before rosters are frozen at 11:5 and PM on Thursday, July 23. The competition structure begins with pool play games held on July 30 and July 31, leading into the semi-final and final matches on Saturday, August 1.
Registration Fees and Logistics
Registration for the event opened earlier this year on April 1, with a final deadline for registration having passed on June 24. The tournament organizers confirmed that team acceptances were finalized on July 3.
Entry fees vary based on the age group and format of play. For U9 through U10 divisions playing 7v7, the fee is $725. The U11 through U12 divisions playing 9v9 are priced at $875, while the largest age groups, spanning U13 to U19 playing 11v11, require a $1,050 fee.
A $20 GotSport software fee is applied at checkout for all registrations. The tournament organizers noted that credit card payments are not processed until a team has been officially accepted, a process that can occur anywhere from mid-April to early July.

The Extreme Cup is managed within the broader context of the Park City Soccer Club, a co-ed, non-profit organization that has been operating since 1994. The club currently serves more than 600 players across 34 different teams and various youth programs.
