Utah State is scheduled to begin its 129th football season at home against Idaho State on Saturday, Sept. 5, according to a August 31 statement. The game is set to kick off at 5 p.m. and will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.

Head coach Bronco Mendenhall leads the team into the new season with a career record of 146-95. Mendenhall has led 17 of his 19 teams to bowl eligibility and holds the fourth-most career wins among active FBS coaches.
